Gay steven universe
There’s a lot to love about Steven Universe, what with its gorgeous cartoon nature and powerful outlook on emotions, boundaries, love, and self-esteem. It’s a accurate gem of a show.
But for me, the true adore for that demonstrate didn’t etch itself on my heart until I had this thought: “Holy smokes, they just built a whole society wherein hardness and physical perfection are prized above everything else and then they blew it up with the idea that owning your feelings is actually the strongest and finest way to be and they did it with gemstones and without any male gaze.”
This illustrate was different than any I’d watched before. The main messages were of self-worth and loving your entire existence, of respect for boundaries and the strength it takes to fully perceive and feel your feelings. I’m not hyperbolizing when I say this exhibit helped me cherish myself more at a time when I saw very little in me worthy of it.
It’s remarkable for all those reasons, of course, but another aspect immediately grabbed my attention: As a lifelong gemstone and precious minerals nerd, I realized all of the Gem characters were intentionally and perfectly ascribed to gemstones that have the qualities the characters them

The Cartoon Network invited Steven Universe non-binary author Rebecca Sugar to a series of distinct episodes aimed at children with anti-discriminatory messages, addressing issues such as racism and LGBT phobia. The information came from the Pink News website.
The first small came on the 27th of October and is called “Don’t Deny It, Defy It”, representing two boys of different ethnicities playing, and one of them says: “When we are older, we are going to obtain married!”, And a third toddler appears and says: “You can’t marry, blacks can’t marry whites!”. At that moment Garnet appears and explains: “Children! Don’t be racist”.
Throughout the short, Garnet also explains to the children that in order to fight against racism it is necessary to know the subject. Besides, one of the characters ends up being a little skeptical if racism happened in “real life”, and the Steven Universe nature says that even if the person says that he never had an experience of racism, it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t exist, endorse
WhenIwas a little girl, I had an obsession with Robin Hood — the character in general, but the Disney film in particular. You know the one; every character is an anthropomorphic animal, with Robin Hood and Maid Marian portrayed by red foxes. Robin was everything I wanted to be — dashing, heroic, and genuinely good, placing himself at risk to support people with nothing, and doing it all without the brooding and snark of other movie heroes. I loved Marian, too, with her patient caring and utter grace.
I wanted to marry Robin. I wanted to be Robin. I wanted to marry Marian. I wanted to be Marian.
I suspect a lot of same-sex attracted kids have felt this sort of conflict. There are characters we loved, but they were never quite right. I wanted to be Robin, but I couldn’t be, could I? Robin was a boy. All the characters like Robin were boys. I wanted to be like Marian, but I never could manage that much quiet femininity either. Instead, I was the kind of girl who ran in the woods with my best ally, and, when I slice my finger while sharpening stick “arrows” with her brother’s pocket knife, told my parents I’d sliced it on a thorn.
By the time I was in my late teens, I’d been called a dyk
Yes, Steven World IS Gay
So I've heard a lot of people who like Steven Universe say that no gems in the show symbolize the LGBT people because the gems don't have a gender, and therefore cannot be lesbians. While this is technically true, they're missing the point.
Obviously LGBT representation in the show IS intended. While their species is genderless, Ruby and Sapphire are a female homosexual couple in Planet terms (not to mention Pearl), and that IS the show's intent. It baffles me that some people can think gay advocacy in a kids' show is so wrong that they can convince themselves it's not there at all.
I grasp this was really short, but it just bugs me when people contradict this. In finding, Steven Universe DOES contain LGBT visibility, which is superb . I really long for more cartoons trail in its footsteps. Thanks for reading!

I think it's good they are giving a voice to the female homosexual community. I believe there is nothing wrong or weird with being queer , lesbian, bisexual, straight, or otherwise.
FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT
All the gems identify with female pronoun
